I am a research specialist working in Bruce’s lab. I have worked on many projects during my time here including looking at the sub-MIC pharmacodynamics of a wide range of antibiotics with both S. aureusand E. coli as well as an evolutionary study of a retron which causes altruistic suicide in response to phage. My primary focuses now are the evolutionary implications of long-term bacteriostatic drug exposure on E. coli and the population dynamics of abortive infection in L. lactis and its phages.
